On my way to Fraser's Hill from Kuala Lumpur, I've discovered a route which shorten the journey by 15 minutes.
You see, in order to get to Fraser's Hill, you have to go through Kuala Kubu Baru town. The common route is to go through Rawang town and take the old Kuala Lumpur - Ipoh highway to Kuala Kubu Baru.
But I've discovered a quicker way to Kuala Kubu Baru. Instead of going through Rawang town, continue your journey on the PLUS Highway heading north and exit at Bukit Beruntung.
Just after exiting the Bukit Beruntung toll, you will come to a T-junction traffic lights. Turn right at this traffic lights. Head straight for 1.7 km until you come to a traffic lights junction where there is an Esso petrol station on your left. Turn left at this junction and just continue driving along that road for 3.2 km until you come to a T-junction. Turn right. Along the way, you will be guided by signboards indicating the direction to Kuala Kubu Baru or Rasa town. Basically, you will be going through some residential area, farming area and an industrial area in Bukit Beruntung.
Finally you will reach a T-junction where if you turn left you will go to Kuala Kubu Baru and if you turn right you will go to Rawang. Turn left at this junction and travel for about 5km until you come to a cross junction traffic lights. You should be able to see a food court across you called the Kuala Kubu Baru Square. Turn right at this cross junction traffic lights and travel for an additional 2km and you should be in Kuala Kubu Baru town. Then from Kuala Kubu Baru, just follow the signboards to Fraser's Hill. Along the way you will pass by the Sungai Selangor Dam. It's truly a scenic route.
The journey from the Sungai Buloh Overhead Bridge Restaurant to the foot of Fraser's Hill via Bukit Beruntung and Kuala Kubu Baru took me only 45 minutes.

My first post
Hi! This is my very first entry to the world of weblogs. The reason for starting this blog is because I have stuff to recommend to the world. Not just any stuff, but damn good stuff to share with you all. Naturally, the stuff that I share would be based on my own experience and personal views.
